Roofing trims create the perfect finish to the edge of the edges of your waterproofing system, ensuring a long-lasting & professional look.
Sure edge trims and metal edge black plastisol trims are compatible with ClassicBond, RESITRIX and most EPDM Rubber systems. Having said this, knowing which is right for you can be confusing.
Gutter drip trims secure the membrane on the fascia edge of the roof where a gutter drip is present to prevent water from running down the side of the roof.
Depending on the building, you will require either an internal or external drip corner:
Kerb Trims improve the appearance and aesthetics of your roof edge and secure the membrane to the fascia edge. They also create a tight upstand seal to send water away from the kerb and into the gutter system.
There are two types of corner edges:
These are made from high-quality metal with a plastisol coating on the outside, protecting against corrosion.
Metal wall flashing trims: These create a waterproof junction between the wall and roof, acting as an alternative to a lead flashing. *
Roof Edge Trim: These are used with timber upstands for applications where you want the water diverted back onto the roof. Or they can be used at drip edges to form a gutter trim.
Shed Roof Edge Trim: These create a neat finish on shed roofs and can also be used as a smaller metal wall flashing.
* Please note that these must be used with a mastic and requires an angle grinder to create a channel in brickwork or building render.
At UKFR, we aim to provide reliable rubber roof trims to customers all across the UK. With an "Excellent" trust pilot rating across our entire product range and customer service, you can shop confidently, knowing you're in the right hands.

A gutter trim is designed to allow water to run off the edge into a gutter with a drip return or angled edge to prevent water ingress, whereas a kerb trim is designed to keep the water on the roof edge channelling it towards another edge where the gutter is.
They are. The rubber roof trims are made from PVC or Metal, capable of withstanding extreme weather conditions. The metal roof trims are also incredibly durable and have a plastisol coating protecting it from corrosion and rust.
