ClassicBond Flat Rubber Roof Kits are easy to install, resistant to cracks, and have a long-lasting lifespan of up to 50 years.
ClassicBond kits feature a single-ply EPDM membrane and utilise a non-toxic water-based adhesive, which is often considered more environmentally friendly compared to solvent-based adhesives. A durable and strong bond requires adhesive to one surface before joining it to the other surface whilst still wet.
Similar to other water-based solvents, it has a longer curing and drying time so you can adjust and reposition the membrane before it fully bonds, making it ideal for home DIYers with little experience. This is also great for professional roofers on large projects as it allows more handling time. When using the water based adhesive, it is still crucial to use the contact adhesive around the perimeter and any upstands.
ClassicBond roofing kits come with high-quality trims available in black, white & anthracite grey for a professional and durable finish in your preferred colour. These kits have over 20 sizes varying in depth and width, so no matter how big or small your flat roof is, you can find one that will work for you.

ClassicBond roofing kits include single sheet EPDM rubber membrane, adhesive and accompanying accessories including corner, gutter & kerb trims, and edge trims.
Please note that accompanying accessories will depend on the chosen kit.
We've designed these roofing kits so they can be used across multiple installations, meaning you might need to buy the roofing tools separately. But the ClassicBond Kits come with a DIY Installation kit including: Rollers, Scissors & Paint Brush.
Flat roofing kits are designed for easy installation, regardless of your DIY skill.
If you're completely new to DIY or have never installed a flat roofing membrane before, we recommend using one requiring a water-based adhesive as you will have more control when aligning it for the perfect fit. Unlike contact-based adhesives, water-based ones won't form an instant bond, giving you a chance to make any necessary adjustments before the final seal.
Contact and water-based adhesives are both effective and reliable sealants that can be used for a variety of flat roofing applications.
The contact adhesive needs to be applied to both surfaces and will form an instant bond when joined together. Because of this, you need to take care during the application.
Water-based adhesives only require application to one surface before joining the materials together (the surface should remain wet when applying). Once the materials are joined, you can adjust their position before allowing the adhesive to cure and dry.
