RESITRIX

RESITRIX is an all-purpose, waterproofing membrane designed to be durable and easy to install with an EPDM surface layer. RESITRIX is a 2.5mm thick hybrid roofing system with a 30 year BBA certification and a 50-year life expectancy. It is a glass fibre reinforced EPDM with a self-adhesive modified bitumen backing.

This product is popular with many roofers due to the easy installation of a self-adhering system in combination with heat welded joints provided by heat guns for a secure fit. No naked flames are required to install this EPDM, making it much safer than other comparable products such as torch on felt

This system is available as rolls in a variety of sizes and can be ordered in the standard black colour SKW. We can also supply the other varients of RESITRIX so if you need RESITRIX MB or CL please contact us.

RESITRIX FAQs

Manufactured by Carlisle Construction Materials, RESITRIX EPDM is a versatile, single-ply EPDM membrane designed to waterproof all substrates. This membrane offers all the advantages a traditional EPDM rubber membrane has including easy installation, long-lasting durability, and wide-scale versatility.

RESITRIX has a wide variety of applications including flat roof extensions, rubber gutter linings, balcony roofing systems and more.

RESITRIX EPDM rubber roofing membrane is a consistent and reliable material chosen by many roofers and builders thanks to its resistance to ozone, UV & infrared radiation, and a certified service life of more than 50 years.

In addition, its thickness of 2.5mm makes it a very durable and versatile system that can be used on walkways, gutters, roofs, and even train carriage roofs & boat decks.

Yes! To weld RESITRIX together, start by overlapping the material by 50mm. Following this, use a heat gun or hot air gun, applying pressure to the top with a silicone seam roller. To ensure a sturdy connection, maintain a 50mm gap between the nozzle of the heat gun and apply medium pressure.
