Frequently Asked Delivery Questions

If your order is placed before 12pm we aim to have these processed and dispatched on that same day. However some items have an earlier cut off time and will be dispatched the following day. If the product has an earlier cut off it will be noted on both the product page and in the basket.

Our delivery costs vary depending on what product is ordered and where it is being delivered to. When you add items to your basket and proceed to checkout the delivery prices will be stated. We keep our delivery costs as low as possible and only pass on the rates that our delivery partners charge us.

As we have such a wide range of products we have a variety of warehouses that we ship our products from. If your order is coming from several warehouses you will see that the Combined delivery option is shown only. 

We try to keep orders coming from as few warehouses as possible but as some of our items come direct from the manufacturer, growers or local depots this isn’t always possible. The use of several warehouses and different locations to ship from allows our prices to stay affordable.
 

We aim to send out your items as one delivery, however multiple shipments are sometimes unavoidable due to the following reasons:

  • Some of our products come from different warehouses and so must be shipped separately.
  • Some of our products are classed as dangerous and must be shipped with specialist carriers that come separate to other products.
  • Trims are sometimes sent out separately to avoid damage.
  • Couriers sometimes split packages that are from the same order due to their size.
  • Occasionally the sorting system separates the products and they are then shipped individually.

We aim to get tracking to you automatically, as soon as we have this available. Some services don’t provide live tracking due to the couriers that are being used. Please feel free to contact us for tracking or an ETA.

Insulation items may not come with automatic tracking due to the delivery partners used, however we will endeavour to get you a date and time of expected delivery if this is possible.

We only require your phone number in order to contact you regarding delivery or queries around your order. We will pass on your number to the couriers to ensure they can contact you if any issues arise upon delivery such as access.

All of our orders are processed through strategic hubs around the UK. This means we are able to dispatch your order from the closest warehouse to your delivery address to reduce the miles a product must travel.

We also ship directly from our manufacturers rather than stock to reduce handling costs and further travelling costs.

Our products vary in size and thus we have to use a variety of delivery vehicles that could range from a small van to an artic lorry. Therefore it is essential we are informed of any narrow access and if there are any previous issues with large vehicles getting to the delivery address. This can be noted in the message box that is available upon checkout or you can contact us once the order has been placed.

Any failure to inform us may result in extra charges for a re delivery.

Some insulation products are currently only available to be delivered to certain areas due to limited warehouses.

We cover 95% of the UK with our warehouses but please contact us if you don’t fit within the delivery map area shown on the product pages  and we will endeavour to find a solution.

Our deliveries are usually to the Mainland UK only.

Some of our deliveries for Insulation fall under local branches area and are limited. We show maps on the pages of these under the delivery tab.

If you are from Highlands, Islands such as IOM, Isle of White or Channel Islands please contact us prior to ordering to check if we can help you order.

We can also ship some items to Northern Ireland but please contact us before hand.
