What EPDM Adhesive is right for me?

Knowing the right one to use can be tricky, even if you've installed an EPDM membrane before. To make your life easier, we've compiled a list of each type of EPDM adhesive, with their application and use following: 

• Primer: Used to prepare the EPDM for application of the pressure-sensitive tapes and accessories to the EPDM rubber membranes.
• Contact Adhesive: A high-strength solvent-based bonding adhesive designed to adhere the ClassicBond EPDM to the deck. Applications include: use around timber roof edges in conjunction with water-based adhesive; and use on the whole roof area when installed onto other deck types or roofs over 100sq.m.
• Water-Based Adhesive: A non-flammable, acrylic-based solution for bonding ClassicBond EPDM roofing membranes to timber decks in the centre of the roof area, with the contact adhesive around the edge.
• Pro PU Decking Adhesive: Used to bond the ClassicBond Pro EPDM membrane to a range of substrates such as plywood, concrete and overlaying GRP roofing systems.
• Mastic: Primarily used for delivering a waterproofing chase between wall trims and brickwork.
