The ARBOFLEX Liquid Carrier Membrane is a premium, polyester-reinforced roofing base layer featuring a high quality SBS (Styrene-Butadiene-Styrene) modified bitumen. designed for robust, multi-layer built-up roofing systems.

The membrane's upper surface is reinforced with a composite aluminium foil and integrated glass-fibre mat, while the underside is coated with a self-adhesive compound.

The ARBOFELX Liquid Carrier Membrane is designed to be used as a carrier membrane with ARBOFLEX PU Liquid Waterproofign and should be used as part of a multi-layer built up roofing system.

The carrier membrane is used above tissue faced insulation in a warm deck roof such as Kingspan TR27, Recticel Powerdeck F & Ecotherm Innobond. The deck shouldI be prepared with FG35 primer for a fully bonded system. We also recommend using ALUTRIX 600 Vapour Barrier below the tissue faced insulation.

Chemical Resistance

ARBOFLEX® Liquid Carrier Membrane is water-resistant and stands up to watery solutions of salt, diluted non-oxidising acids, and bases. However, it should not be exposed to aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons, chlorine hydrocarbons, oils, and greases, as these may degrade the product.

Application Guidelines

1. Substrate Preparation: Ensure the substrate is dry, clean, and free of oil, fat, dust and other impurities. Prime with FG35 Primer.
2. Installation: Lay out the membrane in the required direction of work, ensuring a 15 cm overlap on all short side overlaps of 1m, and a 10cm overlap for all long side overlaps. Peel off the silicone release foil from the lower surface as work proceeds to bond the self-adhesive compound firmly to the substrate.
3. On Sloping Roofs: Lay the self-adhesive membrane from the bottom, perpendicular to the slope direction.

Storage

• Store vertically in roofed-over spaces
• If stowed without pallets do not stack
• Shelf life is one year from production date in the case it has veen stored in sealed, undamaged package in dry ambient conditions at a temperature from +5°C to +25°C away from direct sunlight

When do you dispatch orders?

We aim to have orders processed and dispatched on the same day when ordered before 12pm. However some items such as cut to size rubber or larger orders may not be dispatched until the following day. They will however be delivered within the estimated delivery time.
