RES-TEC 2020 Cures in 30-60 minutes

 

Combining the best elements of GRP fibreglass and liquid overlay systems, RES-TEC Flexitec 2020 is a single-resin system offering roofers a reliable rapid-curing and highly flexible roof overlay system.

Its rapid curing ability provides an extra-tough finish that’s ready to be walked over in as little as 30-60 minutes.

It can be applied to almost any existing roof, including felt, asphalt, concrete, GRP, PVC single-ply, metal or approved insulation boards and more. This eliminates the need to strip the roof of its existing material.

What do I need?

The RES-TEC Flexitec 2020 kit comes with everything you need including primer, matting and top coat resin. Having said this, if you don’t require everything it comes with, then we also sell them as individual products.

• Flexitec 2020 Primer: Applied to most roof surfaces before the resin, improving adhesion and ensuring a long-lasting bond.
• Fibreglass Matting – Applied on top of the base layer, adding strength and stability to the roof system.
• Flexitec 2020 Resin: The system’s main component which becomes a water and weatherproof membrane when hardened.
• Accelerators: If you’re applying the system in a cold temperature between 1 and 5c, you must use the 2020 Resin Accelerator and 2020 Primer Accelerator to ensure it fully cures. These can also be used in temperatures between 5-10c to speed up the curing process.
• Powder Hardener: Added to the primer & resin to initiate and accelerate the curing process.
