Description

Flexitec 2020 Primer is used to prime many roof surfaces prior to application of the Flexitec 2020 resin.

IMPORTANT: Failure to prime porous surfaces, such as concrete, brickwork, tissue-faced insulation or plywood, may result in an under-cure of the Flexitec 2020 resin and potential system failure.

The Flexitec 2020 Primer should be used on all porous, bituminous, cementitious, timber and PVC single ply substrates. The primer is used in conjunction with the powder hardener to initiate the curing process. This is added in different quantities depending on temperature.

This primer is applied at a coverage rate of 4-6m2 per litre, depending on the surface roughness. Please see the application manual for more information.

Applications:

  • OSB3 T&G: Only primer required on the board joints
  • OSB3 Square Edge: Primer to be used with the taping matting on all joints for reinforcement
