Mr Green Modular Sedum Tray - 460mm x 495mm

Mr Green Modular living roof trays are the perfect option for a fuss-free green roof. The trays have a blend of 16 species of sedums, which are all grown from seed to give the maximum variety and as close to 100% coverage as possible. All modules are hand-picked to make sure that only the best trays are delivered to you. Each modular tray will easily click into place and can be installed by anyone, whether they're experienced or a novice.

The trays have a built-in water storage layer that's filled with expanding clay granules; these granules trap water and allow for a slow release of the water in dry periods. Drainage holes are built into the trays and allow excess water to escape once it has passed through the main substrate. During heavy periods of rain, this makes sure the sedums aren't submerged in water and helps with storm water run off by slowing the flow of water. This system of green roofing uses a lightweight extensive substrate, which gives the best performance for sedums.

When using the Mr Green modular living roof trays with EPDM or single ply roofing systems, it's advised that a protective fleece is used. Please use the add-on so that the correct amount is delivered with your trays. When using the trays on built-up felt and GRP systems, you can install them directly onto the roof.

When do you dispatch orders?

Orders placed before 10 AM are usually processed and dispatched the next working day. As our Green Roof items are living products, they can only be dispatched Monday to Thursday, with deliveries arriving Tuesday to Friday.

If you want to receive your order on a specific day please leave a date in the delivery note section or contact us after you have placed the order to arrange this.

How much will my delivery cost?

Delivery costs vary depending on the product and delivery location. When you add items to your basket and proceed to checkout, the delivery price will be displayed. We keep delivery costs as low as possible and only pass on the rates charged by our delivery partners.

How long will my delivery take?

Orders are usually delivered within 1 – 2 working days. We can only deliver Tuesday to Friday due to the living nature of the products.

Each product page shows the usual lead time below the “Add to Basket” button. These are a guide only, and we aim to deliver your items as quickly as possible.

Where will you deliver my order to?

All deliveries are kerbside only. It is your responsibility to move items from the kerb onto your property. The courier decides where the delivery is left, so please ensure there is ample space to offload.

Delivery access and site restrictions

Green Roof deliveries are made via pallet couriers, typically using large 18T lorries. A rigid lorry is approximately 18–26 tonnes, with a capacity of 12–14 pallets, and average dimensions of 10–12 m long, 4 m high, and 2.6 m wide.

Please advise us of any access restrictions or issues that may affect delivery. Failure to do so could result in extra delivery charges.

It is essential to provide a mobile number so we or the delivery driver can contact you if there are any issues. For orders of this nature, we may contact you after ordering online to discuss delivery options, site restrictions, or offloading requirements.
