How does GrufeKit Sedum & Wildflower work?

• Installation - The GrufeTile is equipped with a nifty double-action coupling system: the tabs on the side of each part engage the edge in the gaps between tabs of the facing part, making installation easy. If you need assistance, check out our guide on installing a modular green roof.
• Vegetation - The modular sedums consist of a mix of 20-30 wildflower and meadow grass varieties and 8-12 varieties of Sedum. Sedums are low-growing evergreen plants that look after themselves throughout the year, meaning you can enjoy them all year round.
• Soil - The media mix (posh term for soil!) used is a special substrate (another posh word for soil!) prepared specifically for the GrufeTile, but individual mixes can also be prepared depending on the planting & project requirement.
• Carrier - Made from recycled HDPE plastic, the carrier acts as a water reservoir, a drainage layer, and protects against excessive drying of roots from the airspace below. The trays are lightweight and easy to handle, making installation easy.

When do you dispatch orders?

If your order is placed before 2 PM, we aim to process and book collection the next working day, Delivery is then the following working day. As our Green Roof items are living products, they can only be dispatched Monday to Thursday, with deliveries arriving Tuesday to Friday.

How much will my delivery cost?

Delivery costs vary depending on the product and delivery location. When you add items to your basket and proceed to checkout, the delivery price will be displayed. We keep delivery costs as low as possible and only pass on the rates charged by our delivery partners.

How long will my delivery take?

Orders are usually delivered within 1 – 2 working days. We can only deliver Tuesday to Friday due to the living nature of the products. 

If you want to receive your order on a specific day please leave a date in the delivery note section or contact us after you have placed the order to arrange this.

Each product page shows the usual lead time below the “Add to Basket” button. These are a guide only, and we aim to deliver your items as quickly as possible.

Where will you deliver my order?

All deliveries are kerbside only, and it is your responsibility to move items from the kerb onto your property. It is at the courier’s discretion where the order is left, so please ensure there is ample space to offload.

Delivery access and site restrictions

Green Roof deliveries are made using pallet couriers, typically with 18T lorries. A rigid lorry is approximately 18–26 tonnes, with a capacity of 12–14 pallets, and average dimensions of 10–12 m long, 4 m high, and 2.6 m wide. Please advise us of any access restrictions or potential issues, as failure to do so may result in additional delivery charges.

Why do we need your contact number?

It is essential to provide a mobile number so we or the delivery driver can contact you if there are any issues. For orders of this nature, we may contact you after ordering online to discuss delivery options, site restrictions, or offloading requirements.
