Installing Metal Roof Edge Trims:

• Note: To use the trim as a kerb edge it is necessary to create a small up-stand by installing a tanalised wood batten onto the roof deck before installing the EPDM membrane.
• Once you have installed the wooden batten and the EPDM membrane has been installed, you’re ready to install the metal edge trims.

Simply follow the below steps:

1. Measure the length of the roof’s edge.
2. Cut the metal trim to the correct length using a metal cutting saw.
3. Clean the edge of the roof to remove any debris.
4. Apply a bead of sealant to the edge of the flat roof.
5. Position the metal edge trim onto the edge of the flat roof, making sure that it is level and flush with the roof surface.
6. Secure the metal edge trim in place using the 40mm self-sealing hex fasteners.
7. Apply sealant to the top of the metal edge trim to seal it to the roof.
8. Repeat the process for the remaining edges.

When do you dispatch orders?

We aim to have orders processed and dispatched on the same day when ordered before 12pm. However some items such as cut to size rubber or larger orders may not be dispatched until the following day. They will however be delivered within the estimated delivery time.

We keep our delivery costs as low as possible and only pass on the rates that our delivery partners charge us.
