Cromapol Roof Repair Sealing Paint

The Cromapol Roof Repair Sealing Paint is an acrylic resin roof coat used to repair punctures and damage to all types of roofs, including flat and pitched as well as bituminous surfaces, gutters, brickwork, lead, slate, concrete, felt, metal and fibreglass surfaces.

Available in Grey for any application and in tins from 5kg or 20kg to suit a range of repair requirements.

Note: Not suitable for walkways or balconies and is not suitable for use on PVC or timber surfaces or for internal use.

Deck Preparation:

• Before application, it is important to make sure the working surface is clean and dry and free from loose debris such as grit, moss, lichen, dust and dirt.
• Any areas showing signs of fungicidal growth should be treated with a fungicidal wash (applied in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions) before application of Cromapol.
• Clean metal surfaces thoroughly with a wire brush to remove rust and provide a good key. Cut and seal splits or blisters prior to application of Cromapol.

Application:

• Apply to the area using a brush or roller at a rate of 1-2 kg per m2, depending on the substrate; it can also be applied to damp surfaces.
• Ensure the area to be repaired is free from standing water, make good all cracks, splits, small holes and flashings before application.
• Gap or expansion joints greater than 3mm must be covered using Glass‐Fibre scrim and Cromapol. This must be carried out before full coating.
• Cromapol will tolerate damp surfaces, although, as with any application, for best results, Cromar recommends applying to a dry surface.

When do you dispatch orders?

Orders placed before 4:00 PM are usually processed and dispatched the next working day. Some items, if ordered before 10:00 AM, maybe dispatched on the same day. Please contact us if you would like to request this. Same-day dispatch is limited to non-cut items, non-hazardous or heavy items.

How much will my delivery cost?

Delivery costs vary depending on the product and delivery location. When you add items to your basket and proceed to checkout, the delivery price will be displayed. We keep delivery costs as low as possible and only pass on the rates charged by our delivery partners.

How long will my delivery take?

Most orders are usually delivered on the second working day. In some cases, delivery may take until the third working day due to location or courier issues. These are guidelines only, please contact us if your order has not arrived by the second working day or tracking is showing any issues.
