Cromapol Roof Repair Sealing Paint

The Cromapol Roof Repair Sealing Paint is an acrylic resin roof coat used to repair punctures and damage to all types of roofs, including flat and pitched as well as bituminous surfaces, gutters, brickwork, lead, slate, concrete, felt, metal and fibreglass surfaces.

Available in Grey for any application and in tins from 5kg or 20kg to suit a range of repair requirements.

Note: Not suitable for walkways or balconies and is not suitable for use on PVC or timber surfaces or for internal use.

Deck Preparation:

• Before application, it is important to make sure the working surface is clean and dry and free from loose debris such as grit, moss, lichen, dust and dirt.
• Any areas showing signs of fungicidal growth should be treated with a fungicidal wash (applied in accordance with manufacturers instructions) prior to application of Cromapol.
• Clean metal surfaces thoroughly with a wire brush to remove rust and provide a good key. Cut and seal splits or blisters prior to application of Cromapol.

Application:

• Apply to the area using brush or roller at a rate of 1-2 kg per m2 dependant on the substrate, it can also be applied to damp surfaces.
• Ensure the area to be repaired is free from standing water, make good all cracks, splits, small holes and flashings prior to application.
• Gap or expansion joints greater than 3mm must be covered using Glass‐Fibre scrim and Cromapol. This must be carried out prior to full coating.
• Cromapol will tolerate damp surfaces although as with any application for best results, Cromar recommends applying to a dry surface.

When do you dispatch orders?

We aim to have orders processed and dispatched on the same day when ordered before 12pm. However some items such as cut to size rubber or larger orders may not be dispatched until the following day. They will however be delivered within the estimated delivery time.

We keep our delivery costs as low as possible and only pass on the rates that our delivery partners charge us.
