The GrufeKit Sedum and Wildflower trays will transform your home into a realm of biodiversity. Created with a variety of 20-30 wildflowers on the base of an evergreen sedum, your roof will be bursting with colour throughout Spring and Summer, whilst staying green throughout Autumn and Winter.

Suitable for any and all UK weather conditions, allowing the colours to keep on shining. Designed to be low-maintenance, durable and resistant to flooding, GrufeTile’s pre-grown Sedum & Wildflower is the ultimate way to add bio-diversity to your roof.

How does GrufeKit Sedum & Wildflower work?

• Installation - The GrufeTile is equipped with a nifty double-action coupling system: the tabs on the side of each part engage the edge in the gaps between tabs of the facing part, making installation easy. If you need assistance, check out our guide on installing a modular green roof.
• Vegetation - The modular sedums consist of a mix of 20-30 wildflower and meadow grass varieties and 8-12 varieties of Sedum. Sedums are low-growing evergreen plants that look after themselves throughout the year, meaning you can enjoy them all year round.
• Soil - The media mix (posh term for soil!) used is a special substrate (another posh word for soil!) prepared specifically for the GrufeTile, but individual mixes can also be prepared depending on the planting & project requirement.
• Carrier - Made from recycled HDPE plastic, the carrier acts as a water reservoir, and drainage layer, and protects against excessive drying of roots from the airspace below. The trays are lightweight and easy to handle, making installation easy.

When do you dispatch orders?

If your order is placed before 2pm we aim to have these processed and dispatched on the next working day. As our Green Roof items are living products they can only be dispatched on a Monday to Thursday. Delivery is therefore Tuesday to Friday. 

How much will my delivery cost?

Our delivery costs vary depending on what product is ordered and where it is being delivered to. When you add items to your basket and proceed to checkout the delivery prices will be stated. We keep our delivery costs as low as possible and only pass on the rates that our delivery partners charge us.

How long will my delivery take?

On the product page you will see our usual lead time for our items, these are above the ADD TO BASKET button. These are a guide only and we aim to get your items delivered to you asap.

Where will you deliver my order to?

Please note that all our deliveries are kerbside only and it is your responsibility to get it from the Kerb onto your property. It is at the discression of the courier where the order is left. 

Please ensure you have ample space to offload.

Delivery access and site restrictions

We use pallet couriers for our Green Roofing deliverys and these tend to be large 18T lorries.
A Rigid lorry is approximately 18 / 26 tonnes with the capacity for 12 / 14 pallets. They are usualy 10m / 12m Long, 4m high and 2.6m wide as an average.

So please ensure you advise us of any restrictions or issues you may forsee with this size vehicle, failure to do so may result in extra delivery charges.
