Rockwool Rainscreen Duo Slab (Sold in Packs)

Rockwool RainScreen Duo Slab is a stone wool insulation product specifically developed for use within ventilated cladding systems, as well as sealed systems such as curtain walling.

Manufactured using Dual Density technology, the outer surface of each slab features a distinctly higher density than the underside. This provides a firm and robust surface for the application of fixings, while the resilient underside can accommodate unevenness in the substrate.

Once installed, the higher density outer surface works in combination with a factory-applied water repelling agent to give improved resistance to rain ingress during construction.

As demonstrated by independent in-situ laboratory testing, Rainscreen Duo Slab helps to reduce the transfer of airborne noise - with results for typical systems as high as Rw 62 dB. Quiet Mark accredited. For more information please see the Rainscreen Acoustic Reference Guide.

When do you dispatch orders?

If your order is placed before 12pm we aim to have these processed and dispatched onto our lorries the next day.

However, sometimes our lorries are already full and booked, so this might be 2 to 5 working days after you place your order. Some areas are also subject to set delivery days due to their distance from the local branch.

Please ensure to leave a mobile number so that we can contact you with your delivery date once we have received confirmation from the local branch. This also allows ourselves or the delivery driver to contact you if there are any issues with your delivery.

What time will my order be delivered?

Orders can be delivered any time between 7am and 6pm

How much will my delivery cost?

Our delivery costs vary depending on what product is ordered and where it is being delivered to. When you add items to your basket and proceed to checkout the delivery prices will be stated. We keep our delivery costs as low as possible and only pass on the rates that our delivery partners charge us.

How long will my delivery take?

On the product page you will see our usual lead time for our items, these are above the ADD TO BASKET button. These are a guide only and we aim to get your items delivered to you ASAP.

Where will you deliver my order to?

Please note that all of our deliveries are kerbside only and it is your responsibility to get it from the Kerb onto your property. It is at the discretion of the courier where the order is left.

Please ensure you have ample space to offload.

Delivery access and site restrictions

We use pallet couriers for these items and they tend to be delivered on large 18T/26T lorries.

A Rigid lorry is approximately 18 / 26 tonnes with the capacity for 12 / 14 pallets. They are usualy 10m / 12m Long, 4m high and 2.6m wide as an average.

Please ensure you advise us of any restrictions or access issues you may forsee with this size vehicle, failure to do so may result in extra delivery charges.

Please advise if you are unavailable on the delivery date you are advised of by email as failed deliveries are unfortunately subject to a re delivery charge.
