As part of ROCKWOOL's FIREPRO range of fire protection products, the Acoustic Intumescent Sealant has been designed to seal joints and service gaps in compartment walls and penetration seals, ensuring your property is adequately protected. Guidelines advise that the spread of fire inside a building can be minimised when provisions are made for elements of the structure to have a specified period of fire resistance. The ROCKWOOL Firestop Intumescent Acoustic Sealant is a fire-stopping resource for thin linear joints. As part of the FIREPRO system, it efficiently reinstates the fire performance of compartment walls and floors where apertures are penetrated by multiple services. In addition to providing an effective fire and smoke sealant solution, the ROCKWOOL Acoustic Intumescent Sealant provides excellent acoustic performance by sealing linear gaps. Handily available in 310ml cartridges, 600ml sausages and 5L tubs, it offers up to 4 hours of fire protection in joints up to 30mm in all firewalls, when installed correctly in accordance with the instructions.

Where do you deliver to?

We can deliver to 99% of the UK using our branches across England, Wales, and Scotland. Some areas, such as the Scottish Highlands, may be more difficult to reach, but we always endeavour to find a solution to get materials to you whenever possible.

When do you dispatch orders?

Orders placed before 12:00 PM are usually processed and dispatched on our lorries the next working day. Occasionally, lorries may be full, or stock may need to come from another branch, which can extend dispatch to 2–10 working days. Some areas are also subject to set delivery days due to their distance from the local branch. Please provide a mobile number so we can confirm your delivery date once the local branch has processed your order and contact you if there are any issues.
