Read moreOur Flat Roof Breather Vents are specifically designed as a means of ventilating between the layers on a cold deck flat roof.
They are suitable for use with almost all single ply and multi layer flat roof systems and provide essential airflow between the flat roof layers to reduce the build up of condensation and other forms of moisture which can occur in unventilated flat roofs.
By creating a ventilated layer between multi layer flat roof systems you reduce the moisture levels which if not treated, can expand and contract through heat variations causing tearing, warping and general movement, damaging the flat roof.
Note: You will also need 9 inch uncured elastoform tape with EPDM primer to form a water tight seal when used with ClassicBond EPDM system.

When do you dispatch orders?
We aim to have orders processed and dispatched on the same day when ordered before 12pm. However some items such as cut to size rubber or larger orders may not be dispatched until the following day. They will however be delivered within the estimated delivery time.
How much will my delivery cost?
Our delivery costs vary depending on what product is ordered and where it is being delivered to. When you add items to your basket and proceed to checkout the delivery prices will be stated. We keep our delivery costs as low as possible and only pass on the rates that our delivery partners charge us.
How long will my delivery take?
On the product page you will see our usual lead time for our items, these are above the ADD TO BASKET button. These are a guide only and we aim to get your items delivered to you ASAP.

Both of these are made from EPDM rubber, ClassicBond is 1.2mm & 1.5mm thick whereas SkyGuard is 1.0mm thick. This means the SkyGuard is for use on outbuildings, sheds and any other building not covered by building regs as this requires an EPDM that is 1.14mm thick as a minimum. ClassicBond can be used on all roof types.
There isn’t much difference between the systems ClassicBond or Firestone now known as Elevate, both are EPDM membranes that come in similar thickness and are installed in a very similar way. They both have BBA certificates and life spans of 50 years. So there isn’t much between them, we here at UKFR prefer the ClassicBond system as it is slightly thicker than the Elevate for the standard system and as an overall system is slightly more affordable.
ClassicBond EPDM holds a 35 year BBA certificate and a life expectancy of 50 years. If you want to get a materials guarantee we also offer training with our partner company that once trained and qualified each roof can get a 20 year materials guarantee. You would also be on our list of approved installers and if any customer needs any work in your area we pass these leads to you.
