Description

Celotex GA4000 is an easy-to-install general-purpose polyisocyanurate (PIR) insulation board with excellent thermal performance, featuring a low emissivity foil facing.

Available in thicknesses from 50mm to 100mm, it can be considered for roof, wall and floor applications.

Applications:

  • Pitched Roof: Between and under rafters/loft insulation / between and over rafters / between rafters / pitched roof sarking
  • External Walls: Timber frame walls
  • Ground Floors: Block & beam / concrete slab / suspended timber
  • Flat Roofs: *CELOTEX is not certified as a flat roof insulation board*

*IMPORTANT: Celotex can be used in some flat roof situations, such as in balconies and terraces where slabs will be laid above or between and under joists. Celotex cannot be used directly under a waterproofing membrane as it is NOT CERTIFIED for use as a flat roof board. The compression ratio is not high enough for flat roof applications. Using a CELOTEX board directly under a waterproofing membrane, such as GRP will cause roof failure and will not be guaranteed. Please use boards such as Kingspan TR26 or EcoTherm InnoFix, which are flat roof certified.

Please note: As we utilise local stock across the UK sometimes we may need to send an equivalent PIR board in place of CELOTEX such as Recticel, IKO or Mannok. We will always reach out if we do not have the CELOTEX in your local branch prior to sending the alternative.
