When do you dispatch orders?

This varies depending on the product you have ordered. 

For any items that say “1 - 2 Working Day Delivery”, we aim to get these orders that are placed before 12:00 PM typically processed and dispatched on the same working day.

For any items that say “1 - 3 Working Days Delivery”, we aim to get these processed on the same day as they are placed up to 4:00 PM, but many of these items can only be shipped on the next working day.

For any other items, estimated lead times are on the product pages; these items will be dispatched and delivered as fast as we possibly can within the timeframe suggested. 

Please note that some products are special orders, cut to size or are living products. These will have slightly different lead times, and for these, we will email you with a delivery date, estimate or tracking once the order has been booked in for delivery.

You will get a fulfilment email once items have been booked in for dispatch with tracking or a delivery. If your order is coming from several warehouses, you will get multiple emails, with each detailing what is in each package and the estimated delivery or tracking. You will then get a final email saying that your order is complete.

How much will my delivery cost?

Delivery costs vary depending on the products ordered and the delivery location.

Once you add items to your basket and proceed to checkout, the applicable delivery charges will be clearly displayed before you complete your purchase.

We aim to keep delivery costs as low as possible and only pass on the rates charged by our delivery partners.

Where is my item coming from?

As we offer a wide range of products, orders are dispatched from multiple warehouses located across the UK.

If your order contains items from more than one warehouse, you will see a ‘Multi-warehouse Shipping’ option displayed at checkout.

We always aim to ship orders from as few locations as possible. However, some products are dispatched directly from manufacturers, growers, or local depots, which means items within the same order may occasionally be shipped from different locations.

Using multiple warehouses and distribution points allows us to maintain competitive pricing while offering a wider product range.

Why isn’t my order being shipped as one order?

We always aim to dispatch orders as one complete delivery whenever possible. However, in some cases, multiple shipments may be necessary for the following reasons:

  • Different warehouses: Some products are stored in different warehouses and therefore need to be shipped separately.
  • Hazardous goods: Certain items are classified as hazardous and must be delivered by specialist carriers, separate from other products.
  • Product protection: Items such as trims may be shipped separately to prevent damage during transit.
  • Package size or weight: Couriers may split larger orders into multiple parcels to comply with their handling requirements.
  • Courier sorting processes: In some cases, courier sorting systems may separate parcels, resulting in items from the same order being delivered individually.

If your order is dispatched in multiple shipments, you will typically receive separate tracking details for each parcel.

Can I track my order?

Once your order has been dispatched, we aim to provide you with tracking information. Please note that some products may not have live tracking, depending on the courier used, but we will always provide an estimated delivery date where possible. If your order has been dispatched and you haven’t received a tracking link, delivery date, or estimated arrival time, please contact our team. We will be happy to provide you with the latest update on your delivery.

Why do you need my phone number?

We require your phone number solely to assist with your order and its delivery. Your number will be shared with our couriers to ensure they can contact you if any issues arise during delivery, such as access problems or delivery queries. Your information is used only for these purposes and handled securely.

Why is my order being shipped from multiple locations despite your Green Delivery option?

All orders are processed through strategically located hubs across the UK, allowing us to dispatch items from the warehouse closest to your delivery address. This helps reduce the distance products travel and supports our Green Delivery initiative.

Additionally, some products are shipped directly from manufacturers rather than pre-stocked in our warehouses. This approach minimises handling and further reduces transport-related emissions and costs.

Delivery vehicle size and access issues

Delivery Vehicle Size and Access Issues Our products vary in size, so we use a range of delivery vehicles, from small vans to articulated lorries. It is therefore essential that you inform us of any access restrictions or previous difficulties with large vehicles reaching your delivery address. You can provide this information in the "Delivery Notes" message box at checkout or by contacting us after placing your order. Please note that failure to notify us of access issues may result in additional charges for re-delivery.

Out-of-Area Deliveries

Some products, such as insulation materials, are only available for delivery to specific areas due to limited warehouse locations. Our warehouses cover approximately 95% of the UK, but if your address falls outside the delivery area shown on the product page, please contact our team. We will do our best to find a suitable delivery solution for your order. Please note that we cannot ship certain items to Northern Ireland, the Scottish Highlands, the Isle of Wight, or the Isle of Man. If you receive a message at checkout stating, 'Sorry, we don't usually ship these items to your address,' please contact us directly to discuss shipping options or to identify which items are restricted.

Where do you deliver to?

We primarily deliver to the Mainland UK. Certain products, such as insulation materials, Roof Lights & Decking are limited to specific local branch areas. Delivery coverage for these items is shown on the product page under the Delivery tab. If you are located in the Highlands, Islands (including Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, or Channel Islands), please contact us before placing your order to confirm whether delivery is possible. We can also ship some items to Northern Ireland, but prior confirmation from our team is required.
